The benefits of using orthopaedic cushions

At some point in our lives, we are unfortunately very likely to experience some sort of back pain. This can be caused by a multitude of reasons, but when you’re in this situation, you are going to want to make it as bearable as possible.

There are many solutions and with most injuries or ailments, using a combination of pain relief aids is going to be more beneficial than sticking to just one thing. So what are the options?

  • Visit your doctor, chiropractor or therapist for diagnosis and treatment
  • Use hot and cold therapy products to ease the pain
  • Use orthopaedic cushions to improve your posture when sitting and to take the weight off, which in turn reduces pressure
  • Use orthopaedic cushions to aid in a better nights sleep

IMPORTANT – Before you do use any of these methods/products, ensure that you have taken professional advice from your GP first. Your GP and/or therapist will be able to suggest the right products for your individual situation.
