Gold Coast Airport Marathon 2015

This year 66fit will once again be attending the one of the most popular international running events in the world, the Gold Coast Airport Marathon. In its 37th year it is set to attract more than 27,000 participants of all ages and abilities across a number of events ranging from the Junior Dash, Wheelchair Marathon and the full Marathon. The course itself has a reputation of being one of the flattest and fastest courses in the world.

From the organisers “This year’s Gold Coast Airport Marathon on Sunday 5 July will assemble the strongest elite marathon running field in its 37-year history, headlined by the return of the past two male winners Silah Limo from Kenya and Yuki Kawauchi from Japan.”

Everyone can participate, whether you’re running for yourself, as part of a work team, or raising money for charity, and in addition to pace runners, there are literally hundreds of spectators on the sidelines cheering you on throughout the course, regardless as to whether they know you or not. The energy is fantastic!

This year at the Asics Sport and Leisure Expo, 66fit will be demonstrating our newest products in our recently relaunched range of home exercise and rehabilitation equipment. If your bag’s not big enough to take everything home – don’t worry, we have a solution for you!

You’ll be able to have a play with our new Multi Function Step Board, the long awaited Flexi Trigger Point Massage Stick and the angry 2 in 1 Pyramid Roller which also features a handy exercise mat.
